Designing a Fall Theme Wedding

The fall season is a very magical season for many brides; it invokes warm memories in shades of burgundy, gold, yellow, burnt ember, and reds. The fall season is tender and inviting and the shades of the season should be reflected in your wedding, should you choose to theme your wedding around the season. Centerpieces can incorporate flowers, fruit, pumpkins, vegetables, wheat, even cornucopias. You could also set out fall colored glass votives coupled with berries and nuts for a lovely touch. If you want to steer away from a leaf theme, gold place card holders in a simple design will add elegance to your place settings.

Your wedding cake can be frosted in the colors of the season, or can be a traditional white or ivory cake with fall colored accents. Top your wedding cake off with a unique fall cake topper, or for a more modern touch, your monogram.

For drinks think cider, or add cinnamon sticks and cloves to the wedding punch for a simple fall touch.
